Science with social responsibility

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to knowledge transfer and education. We work to ensure that evidence-based medicine reaches those who need it. Our goal is to foster objective debate and ensure fair access to modern therapies.

Support now

Dignity requires access – access requires evidence.

We believe in the right to the best possible medical treatment. This right must not be denied due to low income, social stigma, lack of knowledge, or lack of guidance. Therefore, we make scientific findings understandable, contextualize them, and actively disseminate them to the areas where they are needed. In this way, we create the conditions for informed dialogue and greater social participation.

Responsibility through clarity

For us, evidence also means responsibility: we clearly distinguish between established facts and open questions. We identify uncertainties, make connections comprehensible, and provide a basis on which individuals, institutions, and the professional community can make informed decisions. Because trust arises where statements remain verifiable.

Our focuses

Our work focuses on three main areas.

Education & Evidence Transfer

We actively disseminate established scientific findings to where they influence decisions: in education, the public sphere, institutions, media, and politics. With clearly presented content and targeted formats, we create the foundation for an objective and informed debate on cannabinoid therapies.

Further training & expert dialogue

We connect practice, research, and institutions. To strengthen quality-assured care, we develop interdisciplinary training and dialogue formats for medical professionals. Initial offerings are currently under development.

Access & Orientation

In addition to our structural work, we also provide support on a case-by-case basis upon request. We offer guidance, help connect people with suitable resources, and develop long-term strategies for bridging financial gaps. In this way, we help to remove obstacles to accessing medically necessary care.

Our values and transparency

Social responsibility

People with chronic illnesses often lose some control over their daily lives and frequently face prejudice. This is precisely where we come in. For us, responsibility means providing reliable information and removing barriers. In this way, we help people make sound treatment decisions, regain autonomy, and actively participate in life.

Profit for the purpose

Our "Profit for Purpose" principle describes a transparently regulated funding model: A defined percentage of funds from the MediFirst Group's network are reinvested in the non-profit projects of the NPO. In this way, economic success is translated into evidence-based education, dialogue, and social impact.

Integrity and transparency

We disclose how content is created, what quality standards apply, and how potential conflicts of interest are addressed. Integrity and transparency are prerequisites for credible non-profit work.
