So that knowledge reaches the places where decisions are made.

Informed healthcare requires informed decisions. Where prejudice, half-truths, or superficial debates dictate actions, societal and institutional decisions lose precision. MediFirst NPO contextualizes scientific findings on cannabinoid therapies, makes them easily accessible, and actively disseminates them to education, media, institutions, and policymakers.

Making international evidence understandable (under development)

We are developing a German-language platform that systematically summarizes, classifies, and continuously expands key international research on cannabinoid therapies. The goal is to provide an accessible overview of the international state of evidence, presented in a way that is understandable for the public, practitioners, the media, and other decision-makers.

Educational work: Strengthening health literacy

Education begins where questions arise. We develop and support programs for schools, universities, and educational initiatives that strengthen health literacy and enable scientific understanding. The goal is to foster an approach to cannabinoid therapies and related topics that can distinguish between evidence, hypothesis, and personal opinion.
Depending on the format, we discuss basics, supply issues, risks and boundaries: precisely, understandably and responsibly.

Briefings: Media, authorities and institutions

Discourse quality: Objectivity as the standard

We promote formats that bring together diverse perspectives from healthcare provision, academia, institutions, and the public. We openly acknowledge where research is still in its early stages and where reliable findings already exist. This transparency protects against polarization and creates space for a societal dialogue that remains nuanced, respectful, and sustainable.

Our principles

We work based on evidence and make key sources and assumptions transparent. Our educational work is strictly separate from commercial interests. We do not promote products. We talk about people, not target groups. Language is part of healthcare culture.
